Description: Similar in design to the Super X GTM, this is the big fish version of the reel that has a lower gear-to-handle gear ratio for improved cranking power. With big fish in mind, the inclusion of Nexus and stress free features are vita,l plus improved power transmission and reduced component wear. The lower gear ratio will also be preferred by some anglers when heavy feeder fishing. A matt black body rotor with gun metal XT7 sections and a metallic silver/grey bands on the spool skirt and rear fight in drag control. Comes supplied with a graphite spare spool.

Pros: Handles very well under normal conditions. Feels like the high quality that Shimano usually stands for. Tested with 0,25 mono and 0,17 Fireline in the 3000 size.
Cons: The reel performs really bad in very cold weather.

Nice allrounder This is generally a very good reel. I have been using it when fishing for seatrout along the danish coast. This means wading in waist-high saltwater constantly casting for longest distance - in other words this really puts the gear under stress.Only prob
