Pros: Baitrunner system and cranking power are very good and solidly built, line lay and capacity are excellent and compare well againt earlier models.
Cons: Bail arm jumps after initial turn of the handle and the clutch is very poor when playing a fish, no fine adjustment, you really have to undo it a fair bit before the spool will give line, this can be quite nerve racking when a fish runs off whilst using t

Pros: I use the reels for barbel, carp and pike fishing. The reels are bigger than required for most barbel/river work but are big enough for longer casts when carp and pike fishing on larger waters. They are fairly heavy but they are solid, quality engineering
Cons: The clutch tightens up in very definite increases of resistance. There is no fine tuning these like my smaller Shimano Exage. Designed, I think, for lines of at least 6lb but they big reels so...
