Pros: Very good build quality and light to hold.Smooth clutch and easy to adjust. Supplied with spare brake washers, oil and a spanner.
Cons: I feel the winding power is a touch weak when matched with heavy pike rods of 3lb plus.

Well made light reel A good reel for all types of pike fishing. You just have to master the over run on the cast as with most multipliers.

Pros: A great reel apart from one major design fault.
Cons: When fishing in the rain, the anti backwind bearings, located just behing the reel handle/clutch knob, have a tendancy to lock-out, allowing the handle to backwind.

Ok when working properly (!) I had one knuckle-buster too many!!I have two LH Calcutta 251's, one being brand new - make me a sensible offer and they're yours!!

Pros: solidly made from excellent materials, light and easy to use and looks the business
Cons: No clicker, so a "pure" lure reel only.

Pure class I can't imagine buying another lure reel anytime soon, I am hoping that this one will outlast me!

Pros: Smooth drag, thumbar spool release, controls come to hand and are were they should be build quality.
Cons: I would like a on/off clicker on free spool

Excellent reel for lures Probably the best small baitcasting reel available to the pike lure angler at the moment. Very robust too.
