A section devoted to illustrating rigs - The Running Leger Rig, suitable for swimfeeders and other eyed leger weights.

A Simple Running Leger Rig.

A legerbead, with link and silicon tube cover, is slid onto the line, followed by a standard size rubber bead (plus another one for extra stand-off if required), then a larger rubber bead that will push over the eye of the swivel. Then tie a swivel on the line that will act as a non-slip leger-stop.

The hooklength is tied to the opposite eye of the swivel. A swimfeeder or eyed leger weight can be clipped onto the legerbead.

If you wish to contribute a rig to this section please remember that the emphasis is on illustration rather than words. Good line drawings are fine in the absence of photographs. Please send to graham@fishingmagic.com.
