A range of events will be taking place to mark the opening of the new £ 1.5 million extension to Kingennie Fishings, which is being re-launched under the name Forbes of Kingennie. Demonstrations will be held by loop fly-fishing demonstrator and experienced guide Klaus Frimor. Dave Downie, current Scottish fly-fishing team memberand the first Scottish “Trout Master” competition winner will be giving fly tying demonstrations. The extended site at Forbes of Kingennie has seen the development of a brand new Country House with a restaurant, angling equipment and a gift shop. It is also equipped with a bar and function suite and five new luxury self-catering lodges.
