Barbel clubs or societies in wales

There are various Barbel clubs and societies over england but can you tell me of any in Wales. We've got the Wye and some stretches of the severn running through Wales but I don't know of any Barbel clubs.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Depends where you live, Glamorgan Anglers has stretches of the Taff in Cardiff, and the Usk and Wye

I'd like to be proved wrong,but my guess is,that there are no specific Barbel clubs or societies in Wales.

I can?t prove you wrong Fred but I can say that the Barbel Society now has an active region covering Shropshire and Mid Wales.
The first Meeting was last week and a very entertaining night it was; the next one is on November 24th and the speakers will be Steve Pope and 'Mr Barbel' Fred Crouch.
