Nigel,
I went back and checked and I had it wrong it was 5 years not 3 to 4 years.
This is a quote from the guy on the Forum when talking about the prodigy:
"I am about to order a pair of Prodigy Specimen's that come with two tips (1.5 and 2lb T/C tip version).
I have been looking for about 8 months now, and in that time I have tried several makes and a number of individual rods.
From what I have seen this is the best rod given the price and performance, my first choice would have been a Harrison Chimera at 1.75lb T/C but it came with only one tip and a cost of £200 (£400 for a pair, "Ouch"/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif, and, as my current rods are from Harrison Blanks and have become a little tired (constant abuse from me I'm afraid) over the 5 years that I have used them I am reluctant to buy an expensive rod that has a limited life expectancy.
So It's the Greys for me and having been allowed to try one for a week or so (Cheers Frodo) I am looking forward to tangling with our Ouse Barbel on them.."
