Fished Lucy's Mill a few times bout 5 years back, for pike tho not barbel and caught well, nothing massive mostly low doubles but good sport.

I know from mates that there are some good barbel in there but I never tried for them because I didn't like the constant stream of pedestrians (I like a bit of solitude when fishing).

A couple of good barbel bits near you are where the Arrow joins, and Wasperton on the Leamington AA book near Warwick is a cracking stretch (not prolific but some big ar*e fish in there).

Hope that cheers you up :)

I used to fish below the weir, past the bridge into Hampton Lucy, and there were definitely barbel in there as that's where I caught my first one.

I used to fish above the weir at Wasperton too and, although I'd heard of some good sized barbel coming out, I never saw one myself. Lots of nice chub around the 3lb mark, but no barbel.

Sorry if this doesn't help much, but it's sure nice to reminisce about fishing.

I would contact Anthony Simmonds at LAA (details on LAA website).
Good sized barbel all the way through from Barford onwards. Just a case of finding them.
