River Trent Day Ticket

Hi all,

I've pencilled in this Saturday as a day to get out on the banks. I live in Derbyshire and have always been very loyal to my River Dove but would like to opportunity to explore the Trent in either Notts, Staffs or Derbys. I wondered if there was any decent day ticket stretches out there that folk would recommend. I'm not all about going for Barbel and I often spend most of my days trotting and roving. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Fiskerton on the Barnsley book do a day ticket available at the village post office, lots of fish of all species there.

A lot of the Trent around Derby is DRAC but they don't do day tickets. Not sure what other clubs are about.

Slightly irrelevant perhaps, but you can get on some great stretches of the Derwent round Derby on day ticket through the Earl of Harrington AC.
