1. whats the best type to use method Inline or elasticated?

Depends on the fishery rules. Most places don't allow elasticated feeders. Many folks won't use them even if they are allowed.

2. how do you rig an inline

Straight through with some form of bead or clip connecting mainline/feeder to hooklink.

3. does depth of matter when choosing a feeder

To an extent. I'd choose a cage feeder over a flat bed method feeder in (still)water over about five feet or so deep.
