Hello everyone,

I'm new to everything and I wanted to get your guys opinion. I recently signed up on this forum to read up on and get a few tips, but I also like podcasts, blogs and other articles. Do you guys have any blogs that you would recommend?

I second Danny’s. videos, they are excellent and a fresh one goes online every Friday evening.

I’m also a fan of Paul Bosworth “The River Piker”, a must for all lure anglers but even if you’re not the videos are superbly made and with Paul’s humour they can be very entertaining.

If you’re into sea fishing then have a look at “The Fish Locker”

I like Amateur Angling

You’ve also got fishing tv the free articles on there are ok.
You don’t have to buy tokens unless you want to watch all their stuff.

Some wading through YouTube pays off too.

Even better go with someone who already fishes

I know I shouldn't really be self promoting - but I also do an angling type blog/channel. I specialise in saltwater fishing but I am an allrounder and am currently building the coarse water content of the channel. A lot of skills are universal for fishing anyway. The Fishlocker.

Find a friend or neighbor who fishes and go out with them , books and videos are okay but you can’t beat the the real thing.

Good post carpinbob.
Nothing wrong with picking up knowledge when you are not fishing but time spent on the bank learning has you go can't be beat.
