Feeder Reel Advice

Thanks again... all great advice and I really do appreciate it!

I think I will go for the Daiwa Emcast and will stick with my normal 8lb line on it.

Hook Lengths wise I've only used the Guru Method Hair Rigs / Bait Bands so far (4 inch). Normally using a size 14 hook. Then I tend to use the Drennan feeders, think these range from 25g - 35g, and so far, I've only tried the small ones on my current rod.

Sounds like a decent set up , Most heavier rods and line are for casting to the horizon , as the other posters have said playing a fish using the rod and clutch is what it's all about .
