i am new to carp fishing and i am looking for places to fish in the london area. i would also like any tips that more seasoned anglers can give me on how to fish lake like farlows witch i find very hard to fish.

Walthamstow 1 and 2 if you want some action.
Spodded particles or method fishing for best results.

Rik is right, Walthomstow is good...also, if u want slightly less busy waters, try The Eagle Pond at Snaresbrook, Wanstead Park and many of the wake valley/Epping forest ponds.

try willow side carp lake carp only to 27 but lots of lower doubles fish surface baits in warmer weather and also try method feeder with pellet or lunchen meat

Fishing is now banned at Eagle Pond, and has been since 1994 ish

whats the situation with Walthamstow now ? I Did hear there was a few problems with louts and ownership probs ? I've also heard about some big Bream mmmmm.. Sorry Carp..
