The Daily Telegraph reports today that the ACA do more for the countries waterways than the E.A. By taking legal action against polluters they have squeezed 32 million quid ! out of British firms and individuals.
Hats off to the ACA.

I have a standing order to the ACA as my chosen charity. They do so much from behind the scenes and put all monies back as well.
A true charity that benefits all who have an affinity with natural waters in this country. Well worth donating to. Do they have a web site that people that make donations to?.

No that is one thing I do wish they would sort out.There was a thread in the recent past where Graham said he had attempted to assist the cause through this site but nothing was heard from the ACA.I feel they are missing out.

The ACA took some stick off some members of a Mailing List I belong to several months ago. Many times I've asked them for Press Releases, etc, so I can tell FM readers what they're up to, including fund raisers and so on, but they seem to be full of promises and not much else in that department.

Considering I've been a member of the ACA for about 30 years, and this website reaches tens of thousands of anglers every month, I should say they are definitely missing out.

It's about time they pulled their finger out and realised that they have a huge potential membership that can be found online as well as the printed page.

Nice one Lee. I did try a search on various engines a few weeks back and only came up with the Scottish ACA.Mind you with the hyphons in the address it's not suprising the s.e's struggled.

Their site hasn't been updated for 6 months and all the links are dead and the rest is under construction.

I agree with Rik, the A-C-A website is pretty poor. It`s a real shame about them not responding to Graham`s requests for info etc. Can anything be done to remedy the situation? I`ll send them an email and get back to the forum with their reply.
David Will, I used to have problems searching for stuff on the internet with so many search engines to try. Not any more though. I now use Google for most of my searches, try them at www.google.co.uk
They also have a google.com website but don`t bother with this one. If you use the .co.uk site you can limit your searches to UK pages only, much better than trawling through loads of other (mostly US) sites.

I'm very pleased to see that the A-C-A have finally got their website running properly (no more broken links etc).

Lots of useful information and it includes a registration form which can be downloaded for those of you who are not yet members.
Come on fellas, it's only ?15 to join.
