Fishing In the Derbyshire Area

Hi folks, I'm new to Derby when it comes to fishing.. I'd really appreciate a few pointers on where to go in The derbyshire area. Travel isn't a problem, nor is the venue. prefered Species would be Tench or Pike. But then again I'm not really bothered, just dying to get back on the bank... Any advice would be appreciated.. Thanks guya/gals.

Maybe a visit to somewhere like Derby Angling Centre would be useful. They should be able to help you out. Probably a bit too late fro Tench though.

You are next to some of the best chub and barbel fishing in Midlands.
