Electro Fishing

Can the EA really have the right to turn anglers out of their swims to net off and electro fish a substantial section, without prior warning.Bearing in mind anglers travell hundreds of miles to fish there.Why are these operations not carried out in the close season, and furthermore how does this affect the fishing.Surely they should give notice...

I would have thought that there should be some form of warning or notice given. This would need to be looked at by somebody who is well acquainted with fisheries law. Are there any Fishing Magic members with that sort of knowledge. At the very least it must be morally wrong to evict anglers who to all intent and purpose are fishing perfectly legally.

If its club water you should have been given notice by the club if its day ticket signs should have been posted unless disease is evendent. If you say where you fished i can try to find out becuse i fish and work with a chappy from the EA. Tony c
