looking for information and contacts with knowledge past and present of willow tree lake,billing aquadrome with the intention of hopefully publishing a book on this water which was once second only to redmire pool

Vince, yes I remember a book from years ago that had all the details of the origional stocking of Leaney fish. I'm sure I've still got it some where. I remember being six or seven years old and seeing a huge carp on the bank ( we had a caravan there in those days). It was about 29lb but those Carp boys then used to wade or boat out to a sand bar in order to get somwe privacy and peace and quiet from the train and passers by.
