A good job the bullock went in head first eh Mike? If it had backed up and unloaded, Sedge would probably have thought Rik had turned up!! LOL

Rik backing up and unloading in one's bivvy - it really does'nt bear thinking about, does it? I reckon when he does 'back up and unload' there ought to be a warning message as per the council bin lorries - something along the lines of "WARNING, CARP ANGLER REVERSING"!!!

I remember the Melton fish-in when Rik hadnt 'been' for a few days. After several take-aways etc, we settled for a big mixed grill in the pub. Straight after Rik warned everyone with a loud 'badger' sound that a scud was loading as he toddled of to the gents.
Needless to say we all held on til we were back at the lake before having a piss.......
he must have literally 'jacked' himself up.....LOL

I can see this is being 'milked'. I'm not going to get all 'beefed' up about it mind.

I just thought that with such a wild 'ox-tale' to tell, I'd better show the pictures so people would believe me. It just seemed the 'dung' thing to do.

It's no good trying to 'butter' me up, I'm taking off my 'jersey' right now and I'm off to bed.

Sweet 'creams'

It's just as well you didn't wake up with a 'horn', Sedge!
I once tried fishing for Salmon in Ireland in a full spate on a slippy bank with the farmer's old horse 'Billy' trying to nuzzle me - still this sounds better than Rik's 'pony'.

'Heffer' break. Any 'udder' stories where they've made a bit of a 'teat' of themselves?

I hope you don't catch buleamia after this Sedge.

Many years ago when I was only 11 or so we kids of the village befriended the most tame bull you could imagine. This beast let you ride it. stroke it, do anything to it. For the year or so that the farmer had this animal, it became a firm favourite with everyone. It really was the most gentle animal you have ever seen.

Then of coarse the inevitable happened. It went to be beefed.

I swear most of the kids of the village cried their eyes out on that day.
