Which icons do you mean? The ones to the right of the date and time? If so, the left one allows me to edit messages and the other allows me to delete them. So I can either cut out the swear words, or delete the message altogether. A necessary facility I'm afraid for some forget that there are thousands of anglers reading the messages and amongst those are young children whose parents would be offended if they could visit FISHINGmagic and read all kinds of profanity. Surprisingly, there have been only two instances when editing or deleting has been necessary. One was due to a stroppy person who insisted on continually posting the same message to more than one category, and wouldn't take no for an answer, and the other was the nicknames topic when someone used a nickname that would have caused offence had it been allowed to remain.
