walthamstow reservoirs

I have just started fishing the reservoir and wondered if anyone is willing to give me any inside bait and swim information on the no.1 reservoir, it would be greatly appreciated. I have had a few fish out on scopex pre made but nothing prolific.

i used to fish the resies a few years ago.
the going bait was mainline essential opel. the method was to get as close to the island as possible.and i mean close as in inches not feet.
but the method i use to prefer was to spod trout pellets about a third of the way out with salmon pellet or bollie over the top.
it is also quite a good surface water.as are the other waters on the complex.
it is also a good general coarse fishery.
there are also quite a few carp in the river behind number one .
