I am out on the boat tomorrow and last trip there was newbie, if he on tomorrow will see if he wants them and send any monies to the fund. If he not there and failing any offers or bids will keep them for now and send donation for what I would have spent on posting them to winner.

35 years ago I would have had bid, but I no longer go sea fishing simply because I don't know of any local sea angling clubs and the nearest sea is too far away.

I think in fairness, the auction should be closed with no bidders and can Emmo put them on Ebay and donate the money raised to the charity?

Does seem a shame.

Back from fishing had really good day, even managed a cod to bring home. No interest in down tide rods so will send donation and keep the rods for now.

Thanks all for looking.

Cakey shall we say £20 in to the "pot"?

Its finished Richard. I am going to chip in £20 to the pot to cover what I was prepared to pay for postage to winner had there been any bids.

Now back in Falklands so paypal would be best I suppose?
