I've been playing with re-hydrating previously air dried fishmeal type boilies in the juice created when boiling Hemp.

They're either ended up hard inside or weak and mushy depending how long they were soaked for.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the right texture?

Trial and error Matt!

Mine vary according to how long I have had them air-dried.

Matt,
What about a pellet pump? you can force the liquid of your choice into the boilie, although I admit to not having tried this and it would be trial and error as Malc says.

Nutrabaits reckon soak them for 24 to 48 hours with just enough liquid to cover them.

Matt, try liquidising stewed hemp and peanuts and soaking your air-dried boilies in that. Nice! Then when you're done the slop makes a great additive to method mix, groundbaits, etc.
