For those of you who fish boilies i would fully recommend these...
  • HNV base
    3 seperate fishmeals
    Natural fish oils
    Original Robin Red
Natural seafood extracts inluding Kelp, Betaine and Cream extract
Ive had fish to 22lb on these in the 14mm size any size is just as good its all down to what you can get away with! My current personal best caught from the Avon in -4 conditions was also caught on this great bait!

This bait, is a quality bait!

Bleeps Boosters, another top notch bait! I proffer these for the colder months, they are so robust and you can chop and change them to suit your needs.
With the below freezing temps well set in and bites are hard to come by with this bait there is every chance of a saved blank just as it saved me the other day down my local with one of the stunning named mirrors, Starburst, which has a liking for these boosted pop-ups. (The next day the lake froze up while i was fishing!)

(excuse the poor quality picture the photo had to be touched up slightly to make the tail of the fish a little clearer)

Dr Bleeps has a wide range of his own leads and not one of them lacks quality, brilliant leads to say the least!
My proffered styles from his range are the 'Edled Mutant' and the 'Original Edled'

These leads have help me catch plenty of carp within the last 7 months as they are built with a ring swivel buried inside the lead as an antidote to detect movement from wary carp (this can not be achieved with the usual swivel type lead)

So who got you, A teenager to pump his products for free on FM Adam??? I thought links and pumps for products needed to be paid for on FM?

And yes you are a "field tester" for that company, well?................................

I saw it more of a chance to fill people in with products and bait they may not have found out about if it wasnt for my post.....

Im glad you to see your thanking for my efforts:wh
Their baits havent been as affective on my 1 acre pond, no. Its nice to see that as its only a small pond you make it sound like an easy peasy water thought, very creative

Don't mean to stick my nose in but I can see things from different points of view here.

Maver Man -
I can see you wanting to promote these baits (after all you are a field tester) and so rightly you would like to show off your catch to show the effectiveness of them,

BUT

I think it may have been better if you had either done a review of them for the site of even written an article instead of starting a thread. Might have created better reading and come across in a better light.

The above comments are a bit harsh aren't they? Maybe you could have pm'ed Maver Man instead of doing it publicly. Didn't think there was any need for the above comments and if you had a problem then it can be sorted out amicably.

Also have you tried the above baits? If not how can you form an opinion if you have not used the above products in question?

Thanks bigchub for putting into two prospectives.
true. A proper article or review could have been the better way about it.

Only if you have a financial interest in the product, which of course a field tester does.

i dont see any mention of maver man being a fieldtester for the product,he may well be and if so then yes a review would have been the way to go.

No, not in his posts, but it's in his profile that he's a "consultant" for Carpsmart and they sell the Mr Bleeps products. You have to get up very early in the morning to catch our moderators sleeping! :D :D :D

It's fine line. You'll see a lot of recommendations to Dragon Carp for their centrepins reels, but no one doing so is connected with the company in any way. It's all FM members putting fellow members onto a good deal, and that's fair enough, but if anyone had any connections with the company it would be removed until DC paid up for a 'Trade' membership or an advert.

Hard one this, a field tester doing a reveiw, what will he tell you i wonder, get them to send some bait to an FM member for a reveiw would be better.

Maverman is only telling us what baits he was using, many do that on here.

I don't think i will bother telling anyone I was using a new Free Spirit Hi S 13ft Match Rod, the best Rod around since Normark went, and it's two piece.

Oooooppppppssss...............................:)

You can say that, Ray, no problems. You don't have any connections whatsoever with Free Spirit - or do you?
ThinkingSmiley.jpg

If so, can you get me a quiver top for my Specialist Advanced for nowt? This is the rod I caught my best barbel on last year - and nowt wrong with that, I bought it!

Yes, Blanker, being a teenager has nothing to do with it.

Sorry Jeff i dont have anything to do with Free Spirit, well not yet anyway.

I have been talking to them regarding Rods, not giving them to me, but making a Rod, that is all I am saying, for now.

Right your quiver section. Is your rod 1lb 8oz TC ?? you have a pm.
