i am wanting 2 catch a carp from colwick marina b4 the end of the season.I have never fished it , but am up 4 a challenge. any tips would b most welcom. thanks and TIGHTLINES.

you might have more joy on West Lake,the 1st peg to the left of the car park and cast to the island. Some big carp in there. The Marina can be a bit hit and miss.
A single pop up boilie and maybe a v/small pva bag of chopped boilies may produce a bite although neither venue is an easy water, particularly at this time of year.
