I had just starting making my own boilie for this year carping season and I got a rough idea how to making etc etc this is the problem so far.

1st batch of boilies was brilliant but coming to the 2nd and 3rd batch after leaving it in the fridge overnight wrap in clingfilm took it out this morning and so it can be work at room temperature and it still feel "tacky"

My question is do I need to add a bit dry mix or leave to dry a bit?

Just coat your hands and any items your using in some dry mix as if you doing pastry. Should be fine.

add some more base mix - if its coming off on your hand (especially after a night in the fridge) its too soft.

unless its an "active" bait...
