Hi Cakey,

Thanks for the Telephone number.

Unfortunatley the number has been changed to 01622 759 660. The contact name is Barry Hayman.

Heres a bit of information to anyone interested.

Moat Park is opened each day by the local council from around 8-30am ish and gates are locked around dawn.

Day Tickets are mostly purchased from Maidstone Angling.

Price is ?5-00 per person, max two rods.

No Keep nets, only to be used by members.

No live bait

No bait boats allowed

latest catch report is, that bags of up to 80 lb have been caught by the match angler and the lake records are Carp to 34 and half lb.

Tench to 10 lb and Bream to 13 lb.

Popular swims are located at the Yatching Station and casts to the middle of the lake about a 40 yard distance seem to pick up the Bream and Tench.

Most Carp are caught from either side of the lake at this location with an island in the middle as well.

Lobs and Denga's for Carp

Double red maggots in summer and corn in winter for Bream and Tench.

Cage feeder best for Bream with any feeder mix being used.

Hope this is of some use to you guys.

Thanks again Cakey for that number.

Tight lines everyone.

Yes Giffo, mind you if your Teaching in English and Grammar were as good as your casting whilst fishing , you would save pounds on tackle.HE HE HE!

Your supposed to keep quite and understand what I meant.

Gates close when the council feels like it, but it generally happens around Dusk- ish.

Sorry if I have inconvenienced any angler on that typo !!
