Over the last few years-during the summer-I have walked around this lake. It truly is wild, and seams to be rarely fished. I have spotted a few small carp amongst the large lily beds, but as the water is fairly large and with many bays I am sure that there must be many more. The water during the winter gets pike fished as I have seen the evidence, but haven?t seen any one carp fishing. Speaking to some of the campers that pitch up there, they too have seen carp swimming around.

Can any one offer more info on this lake as I have decided to fish it a few times in the coming season? I aim to stay light and mobile, just a couple rods, basic tackle and baits.

If any one is interested in having a look with me let me know, though I don?t think it will through up instant results. I suppose I will start first casts when towards end of April.
