surface fishing

hi all,
im after a float that will enable me to do the 'gardener suspender' rig when fishing on the surface with dog buscuit for carp.
ive had lots of success freelining and with controller floats,but at a few places i fish the carp become spooked when they see the line,hence why i need to use this rig.
can anyone point me in the right direction.cheers

I dunno what a gardener suspender rig is but is it similar to the zig rig?
