Hi all

Going a bit retro and wondering if anyone is still using Dacron as a hook length.

I still use it and my local shop still stocks the Drennan spools in different B/S and colours.

Anyone else still using it.

Not that regularly, but I do still have spools of Dennan dacron for both hooklinks and hairs in my tackle box.

For years my carp angling partner used nothing more complicated than the hand line nicked from his kids kite. Cheap as chips and in many situations as good as you would need.
