cheap 3lb carp rods?

Can anyone recommend a good cheap 3lb test carp rod?

Been looking at Wychwood - edge, rogue ll and rage all can be picked for£30 - 40

Don't want to pay more than £40 as need to get a reel aswell

Want it to spod(lite spod)to max 60 yds and double up as a carp and pike rod when needed

any suggestions

Ron Thompsons. I got a pair of 3lb C-14s for under £50 each. They are great.. slim, powerful and responsive. I compared them to many rods in the shop, and the felt better than some of the rods at twice the price. My mate uses same rod as his spod rod.

I think they have rebranded them lately.. (Dominators?) Well worth a look.. I've seen them on ebay for £35 a pop.

Have a look on e-bay mate, or have a look round your local lake and get to know the lasd on there, theres always someone getting rid of something and you can usually pick up a few bargins

the jrc skyliner is a good rod 3lb test. i've paid £40 at anglers cabin they have a website and free delivery also some really nice wychwood reels from £30-£90 a thirteen ball bearing for £45.......................
