    Default Mike Dempsey R.I. P.

It saddens me to report the passing of Mick Dempsey, in the early hours of this morning. A life long carp angler who I first me on Pilsworth Fisheries, Bury in the 1970`s. A bunch of us used to fish at Pilsworth with the then Middleton Carp Group. Mick was an inspiration to many of us at the time, notable anglers within our group were Neil Gibson, Steve Milhench, Kenny Tremaine and Martin Holt. Rest in Peace Mick and deepest sympathise to his family and friends

It is always very sad when we hear of a fishing friend passing especially someone who you might have fished with regularly.

    Nick, may your friend R.I.P.

Scholars have long known that fishing eventually turns men into philosophers.

Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to buy decent tackle on a philosopher's salary. ~

Very sad indeed Nick. Not see or heard of him since MCG meeting days. I was only think the other week I wonder what happened to him?
    RIP Mike.
