Wanted - Shimano Stradic Specialist

Hello All

Does anyone know where I can get a secondhand Stradic Specialist ?

I managed to break one of mine at the butt after 6 years of abuse and hard service.

I also broke a shimano rod at the but whilst actually playing a large barbel.....anyway i inserted a spigot made from an old rod and it is now as good as new!! depends on wether it is a clean break but is yours repairable?

Unfortunately not. Mangled is the expression that comes to mind ! Have tried Shimano but they no longer hold stock.

give the chap's at london tackle repairs a ring on01784 491610 they are based in staines.They did an amazing job repairing a pole section a friend shut a car door on,and that looked unsaveable.

Thankyou for the advice Peter. I would do that however I use these rods a lot for feeder fishing for roach and perch and the repair you mentioned would change the action. I bought these to replace a pair of rods that I suffered with hook pulls that I put down to too stiff an action. Would of been easier not to break it !
