Downward pointing mouth you get with a roach
Body too deep for a Roach of that size (6-8oz)
Not the classic silver colouring of a Roach
Dorsal set back from the ventral similar to a Rudd
Goldish tinge unlike a blueish tinge from a Roach

Opinons please?

I'd say hybrid, the shape looks off as does the dorsal...... just looks wrong to me?

I think they are all roach/bream hybrids.

Did they fight well?

Both rudd/bream and roach/bream hybrids are excellent scrappers.

Ron,

The remark 'anal fin too long' doesn't apply to roachxrudd, only to hybrids with bream. Extra colouration in the fins is a clue though.
