basically pellet waggler fishing is done with a pellet waggler.these are short thick wagglers that don't dive too deep on splashdown, the rig is set shallow with a pellet hookbait, banded or hair rigged.the idea is catapult your feed pellets cast over the top of this feed and catapult again to draw carp up in the water to intercept your hookbait.
Works well on my local commercials. You can buy so called specialist "pellet", "corn", "maggot" etc etc etc wagglers and I'm sure they have their design points! :wh
But there's "Wag & Mag", "pellet & Wag" etc etc. It can really work if you've got a few like minded guys pegged in a row all fishing the same. Basically the Pellet approach is to constantly spray a few pellets out to the chosen area (and I mean constant, it's a very active method). Chucking the waggler out and constantly hitting the float with pellet (maybe only 2 or 3 a time) for the duration. Don't stop, there's no point otherwise. Every cast just ping a few out there. Constant casting and eventually get the carp on the drop up in the water. Then its each man on his own, lets see who can catch the fastest or keep them in front of him the longest!
Thank you for your 'pellet waggler' reply. But, from where did you get that haircut? Telll you what, if you've got any of that mop to spare I'll give you a good price for any considered surplus to requirements.
