Iv,e been using bi degradable hair stops for years , ever since my eyes got bad, Those stupidly small plastic things so fiddly, Then i started using thin grass stems of fine twigs , long bits so i couldn just poke them through the hair and cut them off afterwards, been using them ever since . I also think it looks more natural to the fish seeing a twig or grass lying by the bait.
