Wet, But Happy

This Lower Severn sounds quite interesting. Living in Bristol all my barbelling is on the B.Avon with the occasional trip to the Wye but I fancy a change and it's only an hour up the M5.

Does anyone recommend it and where should I start - is the BAA the club to join?

Also, can you get a decent pint of cider up there?

the lower severn is just coming in to its own now any where from the wier at diglis
in worcester [alans tackle shop worcester for day tickets} up through severn stoke {day tickets available BAA from alans also tewkesbury angling centre}. upton upon sever
shows some very big barbel at this time of year fish above the town on the ham {day tickets paid on the bank ?3.00} and the best cider in the area is served at the monkey house Defford on the a38 towards pershore a 10 min drive from all the venues i have mentioned.

Thanks Chris. I think I'll try the day ticket water at Upton first to get a feel for the place, then maybe get a BAA or WDAA card.

I'll let you know how I get on...
