Information/experience of 3 lakes in Selby, please

After a close look at the possibilities, my nephew and I have decided to spend our fishing weekend at Selby 3 Lakes in June. Does anyone have recent experience of 3 Lakes? There are no silly rules, it seems. 3 Lakes used to have an excellent reputation at one time. Is it quiet or noisy? Is it secure? What sort of bottom do the lakes have? Is it far to walk to the day-ticket lake, as you can no longer park in the peg?

It means locked gates at night and a bailiff on the end of a mobile in case of trouble. This is England! Besides I need to protect scallies from my nephew. He's enormous.
