dunsland reservoir, northants

Has anyone heard of this elusive water i cannot seem to find it, but have records of it. Is it now known by another name and i already know of its whereabouts. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Never heard of it! Maybe it's meant to be 'Duston' an area of Northampton near Sixfields. I now there are some lakes in the Sixfields area.

Vince, I have an interesting book I acquired at a carboot sale for 10 pence;
"Where to Fish 1965" edited by H F Wallis.
Anyway, under the Nene tributaries section it says the following:-
STRECK:
CrickNorthants)
Lakes: Dunsland reservoirs (pike, perch etc), 3 miles southwest: private.

Is this of any help?

Stewart,i too bought an old copy of where to fish for a cheap price thats how i came about dunsland resevoir.
i think the thing to do is write to the people who are still producing copies of where to fish and ask them how they came about it.
