Harrison 11' Sulis Avon/Quiver rod

Hello people.
I have just read the article by Graham and it sounds like a superb rod and i think i will be purchasing one!
Just a few questions though from users of this rod.
Is the action similar to the action of the old 'original' harrison avon rod (1.6lb TC) as this is in my opinion one of the best rods in the range.

P.S, would it be ok if i was to try for barbel with it too? I would mainly be fishing rivers like the Hants. Avon and the Dorset Stour.

Chev, I don't know the answer to your question regarding the Harrison Avon but I emailed Steve Harrison on the 28th when you first posted but have yet to receive a reply. He could be on holiday.

In non-snaggy situations the Sulis is fine for barbel, but a Chimera is better if you need to fish 10lb+ line and bend the butt into them.
