Korum Neoteric float rod

I am after a decent tench/specimen float rod and came across this one.
It is a 2piece 12' rod which would make it easier to carry about as i could leave it setup and broken down into 2 pieces instead of the normal 3 pieces like most other float rods.
What is the action like on this rod and what do you think of it? What sort of lines would it be best with? I was thinking of a 6lb mainline and a lighter hooklink.

I've use this rod twice now and on the last session it broken between the second & third ring from the top while playing a 6lb bream.
I take good care of my gear so I can't really understand how it could snap like this.

Froob,

I have landed plenty of carp well into doubles on this rod.

However it is a very light and slim blank (which make it nice to use!) so care should be taken when transporting it in a rod quiver.
