I've been using 5.5lb WBClarke mainline for general waggler work. Find it's half dia as Bayer Perlon. Use 4.4 & 3.3 WBC for hooklengths. What do others use...?

Maxima and generally Maxima hook lengths with the odd bit of Preston stuff mixed in.

2.5lbs maxima unless I'm after something like tench, carp etc

5lb Ultima power steel mainline and 0.17 reston relfo hooklink for carp and tench, 4lb Ultima mainline and 0.10, 0.13 or 0.15 preston reflo hooklink for smaller stuff.
