Anyone ever tried one of these Centre Pin Reels

Holland & Wilkinson HydraGlide Centrepin reel & Presentation box - Dragon Carp Direct

Any comments

How does it compare to some of the other sub £50 Centre Pins doing the rounds at the moment. Marco Cortesi etc.

Popular opinion seems to be that the box is the best thing about it.

The Marco Cortesi is 100% better and the Mk2 is 150% better !!

I did wonder if the the box would be the best thing about it.

I have one of the special off TF_Gear pins on order at the moment as the Marco Cortesi Mk2 is now sold out.

Re the one in my top post, I wonder how it compares to there own Rotorglide model that has a £200 list price.

I wonder if Youngs will ever produce a low price model just to jump on the current pin band waggon.
