Tench waters recommendations?

Hi, I live in the North of England but later this month I will be working for a couple of days in the Stevenage area and hope to slip off for a day's fishing.

I would dearly love to catch tench, but where I live they are of only a small size compared to waters further south. Can anyone reccomend a water I might try, please?

hollwell court has been taken over next week by a club so you wont be able to fish there try stanbrough lakes at welwyn i,m told its good for tench
