Only just though. I just think bread is probably a bit more selective than maggots. Bad potty training probably...

Getting good results on maggots, had one about 1lb 4 ozs last week in a local fishery. 6 maggots loose fed every put in on pole

What about gozzers and squats? anyone still able to get these?. For serious breaming, but pretty useful for all sorts too, was squats in the groundbait mix and soft large gozzer maggot hook baits were the bees knees. Not seen this combo since i returned to angling though?. Infact for some serious scratching around, squats as feed and a single pinkie on the hook!
