Commercial rods

Is there anybody using these shorter rods on running, with the bomb or wagler

I use the Mach 2 shaky 10ft picker, the Garbolino 9 ft quiver and a Maver 10ft Abyss float rod on commercials and small rivers

Used the 10'0 Abyss on a tree lined stretch of the Severn.

On a suitably small and relatively slow river, I'd have no qualms in using my commercial tip rod. I'd be less keen on using the commercial float rod though as it's too much of a through action for my preferences when river float fishing.

mach1 9ft and mach2 10ft wand covers everything i need

Hi

I have and use a trio of TF_Gear Compact rods on my local commercials all 10 footers, Float, Carp and feeder and find the shorter rods give better control on the smaller lakes.
