I am desperately trying to find the butt section of the 12ft Shimano Technium Specialist Rod as mine broke a few months back. Unfortunately Shimano Felindre no longer have stocks, does anybody here have one lying around or know where I may find one?

When the Technium Specialist first came out the price was about £240. Iknow that because Iremember drooling over it when I sawonein a mag one the guys I worked with brought in one night. I got one 3 years ago, it was as new &it came with the tube but nocloth bag for the princely sum of£120.Ifsomeone thinks they will get 200 quid for one they are havinga laugh even thoughTS are considered to be one of the best Chub rods you can get. Buthaving said that, I wouldn't sell mine (yet)at any price.

Yep, that was me. Sorry. Smashed my butt section last week. Can't live without the rod.

If it's new it's worth 200 sheets. Just.

Picked one up for £85.00 off e-bay a month ago and paid £80 for the specialist quiver in the summer.I would not pay much more than that but it depends on how much you want one I suppose.

Yep you're right Nigel I broke the top 4 inch off my avon section so now I only have the quiver sections for both of mine.

How much for your avon top Eric?

Furry muff mate in all honesty the last thing I need is another rod anyway even if it is half.

I got the Technium brand new for £110 and the Antares for £150.

The guy after £200 is barking!

Well done Greg. Be carefull with this one. What with the dog at Sywell you're having a tackle trashing season.
