Hi, new to pole fishing and can either get a used shimano technium or the post 2008 maver jurassic carp. I need it to do canal and carp work. Thoughts would be very much appreciated. Any other suggestions? The maver is hardly used and just £110.
I've got a post 2008 Jurassic Carp and it is brilliant, best pole I've ever had. As long as you are getting the full package (match kit, 2 power kits and cupping kit with cups) that sounds like a bargain.
I think I'm getting just a match top and a carp top. Is it light and stiff? New to poles and keep asking questions that sound like hey belong in a carry on film !!
