plagued by small perch while roach fishing

do you guys have any tips when fishing for roach to avoid perch?
its not that i dont like perch i just want to catch a roach

Dont use a bait which perch like,use corn ,expander pellets,bread etc and avoid maggots,casters.worm etc

Don't use maggot - Use hemp/ tares, bread or caster, if you get perch on caster you generally get the bigger ones.
