In winter, the received wisdom is that pike can be found by locating the roach shoals.
It occurred to me that in summer (whenever that may be), when the roach have come un-shoaled to some extent, it might be possible to reverse the system by roving with a lure, and using pike (captures, takes or follows) to locate the roach.
Any thoughts?
