Arrghh Owse
I need a new landing net and looking for any recommendations please gents. My old one used to get baitstops & bands caught in the mesh .About 50-55cm should be enough to fit any bonus fish I catch .The middy F155 looks strong and shallow but i'm not sure how fine the mesh is on it .
What do yous use ? Thanks for any help

About 50-55cm should be enough
Are you talking length/width/depth?
Two I've used recently:
Greys pan net 40x30x20deep - rubberised mesh, looks fine (2mm) but rig stops and small shot can go thru,
Maver 'Hair Rig' 50x40x30deep - v. fine mesh (1.4mm), does what it says on the can! Alright for the odd 'bonus' too - I've had carp to 10lb in it with no prob.
Cost = £10.99 (discounted) from NW Angling @ Hindley.

Only criticism of the Maver is the colour - black - which means you can't mark a measuring scale in the pan so photos of the fish in the net can be difficult to judge for size - no prob if you're match fishing though - there's always someone around with a set of scales!

Best of luck la' YNWA

I can recommend the Drennan Specialist nets - they do 18, 20 and 22" nets.
